Create a Custom Point to Point Agreement

00:13: Open the Areas section within Configurations.

00:17: Access the Areas tab and select Create New.

00:21: Set Area Header information (In this example, we select City as the primary criteria

00:33: Select Agreements, then Accessorials.

00:37: Start creating by selecting the Create New option, then select Custom

00:45: Enter Accessorial Name, and Charge. Turn the Auto Apply toggle on

00:49: if you want the accessorial to apply to all Rates.

00:53: Navigate to the Agreements, and Select Freight.

01:03: A billing Agreement is the charge going to the client. A Cost agreement is what is

01:08: being paid to the Carrier.

01:10: Add the Accessorials Agreement to this Freight Agreement.

01:14: Enter Agreement Name and Owning Account.

01:17: If your rates are Point to Point check box here. Point to Point can be

01:22: by City, State, Zip, or preconfigured Areas.

01:26: Select the Charge Type field.

01:27: In this example we are showing a Per Mile, or Fixed Distance pricing model.

01:33: Open the Rate Tiers section to configure different pricing levels for the freight

01:37: plan.

01:39: Since we have preconfigured Area's to use, we will select Area in this example

01:45: Enter your first Origin and Destination for this agreement.

01:48: Enter the rate amount to specify the charge for the selected area and tier.

01:54: Enter the minimum charge allowed for this rate tier .

01:57: Add more rate tiers to cover different areas as needed.

02:01: There can be multiple origin and destination areas within the one freight agreemen

02:07: Proceed to the next step to continue.

02:10: Set the status to In Production to indicate the agreement is active and operational.
