G2Mint Release Notes: Sept 4, 2026

Version: 26.16

What's New in This Release?

Highlights:  (Click on an item to view more details)

G2Mint Gmail Extension - Build Quotes, Book Shipments and Upload Documents Directly from Your Inbox!

The G2Mint Gmail extension bridges your inbox and G2Mint. Miles — G2Mint's AI agent — reads the incoming quote request email, drafts the record for you, so a rate request becomes a quote and any document emailed (BOL, POD, W&I , Invoice etc..) can be uploaded and attached to an existing shipment in just a few clicks!

Feature Highlights: All these items can be accomplished without leaving your inbox!

  • Quote from Email- Rate requests open a G2Mint Quote Builder beside your inbox with the shipment details already mapped. Review what came through, send it to the TMS, and the quote is created and rated for you.
  • Book from the Chrome extension. An existing quote, shipment, or load can be pulled up in the extension, rated, and tendered.
  • Attach documents straight from email -When a BOL, POD, signed rate confirmation, invoice, or W&I arrives by email, the extension identifies the shipment from the message and opens it to the Documents tab with the upload form pre-filled — no downloading, searching, and re-uploading. If the reference can't be read, simply search the grid and drag the attachment in.

Installing the extension takes a few setup steps, click this link to get started and feel free to reach out to our support team at support@G2Mint.com with any questions or requests for assistance.

*A note on AI-generated records: Miles drafts the record, but you always have the final word. Nothing is saved to G2Mint until you review and approve it, so give the details a quick look before you do. The draft is a head start, not a substitute for your review.

Builder Enhancements — Order, Shipment & Load (G2M-5049)

The commodity section of the builder has been reorganized to speed up entering key shipping details, along with several additions across the quote, shipment, order, and load builders — including booking directly from the new Chrome extension covered above.

  • Class and NMFC now follow dimensions. Once weight and dimensions are entered, the estimated freight class is calculated and populated for you — and remains fully editable if you need a different class
  • Reference numbers are simpler to enter. Selecting a reference type such as PO or SO is no longer required; enter your numbers directly, and the add button is now more prominent

  • Handling units can be assigned to stops. On multi-stop quotes, each handling unit can be tagged with a From Stop and To Stop, so a quote converts cleanly into a load with shipments built against the right legs
  • New platform accessorials for final-mile and in-home delivery: Removal, Curbside, First Dry Space, Room of Choice, White Glove, Specialized Labor, Minimal Assembly, Heavy Assembly, and Appliance Install
  • Book from the Chrome extension. Building on the extension release, an existing quote, shipment, or load can be pulled up, rated, and tendered without switching to the full application
  • Equipment type and temperature entered on a shipment or load now display on the detail view as well as the grid
  • Handling unit and package type/quantity are combined into single inputs, NMFC is a single field, and required fields are more clearly marked

BOL Document Enhancements (G2M-5225, G2M-4334)

  • More room for pickup and delivery notes. The notes fields now accept more detail, and the BOL layout has been tightened to fit more information on the first page. Longer notes continue onto a supplemental page when needed.
  • Clearer page numbering in combined BOL exports. When multiple shipments are selected and exported together, each BOL in the combined PDF is numbered against its own page count — page 1 of 1, or page 1 of 2 and page 2 of 2 — making individual documents easy to distinguish.

Freight Bill Audit Enhancement (G2M-1871)

Auditing a carrier bill with no matching shipment previously meant building the shipment and entering the carrier and costs manually. A new Create Shipment action on the bill now handles it in a single click.

  • Builds the shipment and expected cost directly from the EDI 210 bill data — cargo lines, weight, class, references, and amounts
  • Moves the bill to Audit Review to continue through the standard audit and pay workflow
  • Produces a full shipment record, so the freight stays visible at the shipment level with a BOL and searchable references alongside the financials

Stay tuned for further enhancements, including enabling the shipment to pull tracking details and retrieve key shipping documents directly from the carrier.

QuickBooks Integration — Custom Field Mapping (G2M-5008, G2M-5093)

The QuickBooks plugin now lets you map your own QuickBooks custom fields to G2Mint shipment data, so bills and invoices carry the reference information your business runs on.

  • Custom field mapping. A new Custom Fields section pulls the custom fields configured in your QuickBooks company and maps each to a G2Mint field, applied to Bills, Invoices, or both. QuickBooks supports the first three custom fields on a form, so map those first
  • Richer transmissions. Bills and invoices now include delivery and bill-to addresses, PRO number, and accessorial display names. Supplemental, corrected, and balance-due documents transmit alongside originals, and commissions can be sent as payables
  • Webhook support. An optional Verifier Token field enables QuickBooks webhooks, keeping payment and status updates flowing back into G2Mint

Convenience APIs — Enhancements (G2M-4881, G2M-4813)

  • Multi-stop quotes convert on booking. Booking a multi-stop quote now promotes it to a shipment or load automatically, matching how single-stop quotes already behave. The booked rates persist rather than expiring, so the record is complete from the moment it's booked
  • Filter rates by service level. Requests can pass ServiceLevel, ServiceLevelTier1, or ServiceLevelTier2 to return only matching rates. Booking criteria evaluate against that filtered set, so automated booking selects from the service levels you specify

Statement Detail — Columns & Saved Views (G2M-4969)

The Statement Overview Detail grid now carries BOL Number alongside BOL Name, plus Mode, Carrier SCAC, Direction, PO reference, and commodity description — the same columns available on the Invoices grid. Views can be customized and saved as a default, and the CSV download returns every invoice on the statement regardless of how many pages the grid is showing.

Fuel Surcharge — Multi-Week Average Index (G2M-5031)

Fuel surcharge agreements can now calculate against a multi-week average index rather than the current week alone — up to a 12-week lookback. An optional Week of the Month setting holds that average steady for the full month, refreshing on the week you choose, and supports both the EIA US index and the FCA Canadian index across its LTL, TL, and Heavy TL weight bands in CAD or USD.

Carrier Related Enhancements and Improvements:

This release includes a set of enhancements and improvements across our direct carrier API connections — rating, tendering, tracking, labels, and document retrieval.

Delivery Appointments from Tracking (G2M-4783) — When a carrier schedules a delivery appointment with the consignee, the appointment date and time window are now captured from the tracking message and written to the shipment's delivery appointment fields, with the carrier's message text retained in the delivery notes. Live across our major LTL carriers, including those offering time-critical and MABD service.

SAIA (G2M-5092) — Shipments can now be tracked by Pickup Confirmation number in addition to PRO, and the tracking reference dropdown now lists every reference type a carrier supports.

Estes (G2M-5167, G2M-5198, G2M-4461) — Added three new service levels (Volume and Truckload Basic, Guaranteed Volume and Truckload Economy, Guaranteed Exclusive Use) and migrated them to existing Estes agreements. Limited Access with no sub-category selected now returns a rate for Delivery. Estes tracking has also moved to webhook (push) updates, so shipments begin tracking on the Carrier Confirmation number before a PRO is issued.

FedEx Parcel (G2M-4964, G2M-5207) — Improved tracking accuracy, including correct status sequencing and Actual Pickup/Delivery date mapping. Expanded the label size options available when generating parcel labels. Additional thermal label sizes (ZPL/EPL) and printable paper sizes (PDF/PNG) are now selectable, including doc tab and half-sheet formats, so labels can be matched to your printer and label stock.

FedEx & UPS Parcel — On Call Pickup (G2M-4623) — Awarded parcel rates on daily pickup now offer an On Call Pickup option from the rate's actions menu, returning the carrier's confirmation number. Useful for origins that don't generate enough volume for a scheduled daily pickup.

FedEx International (G2M-5062) — Resolved broker country and customs value errors blocking international labels, and corrected Declared Value and location names passed from the Create and Book API.

FedEx Freight (G2M-5251, G2M-4949) — New "FedEx Direct Standard" option returns FedEx Freight Direct residential rates alongside standard rates, clearly labeled as Direct. Carrier record updated for FedEx Freight's separation into a standalone company (new SCAC, remit-to, DOT/MC).

ABF (G2M-5229) — Freight length is now sent on BOL requests, so overlength shipments tender successfully via API.

R+L Carriers (G2M-5209) — Dimensions are now passed on rate requests, and Over-Dimension charges return when length or width exceeds 96 inches.

Road Runner (G2M-4736) — Added authentication to tracking and document retrieval, enabling all document types (BOL, Invoice, W&I, LOA, POD) and all track-by reference types.

We've made the following improvements in this release:

Automated Tracking & Document Retrieval — Increased Frequency (G2M-4674)

Automated tracking and document retrieval now run every 2 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM ET, and every 4 hours overnight — up from every 4 hours around the clock. Status updates and documents land on the shipment sooner, with no configuration required.

G2M-4687 Financial Grids - Requested and Actual Pickup and Delivery Dates

Introduced the shipment's requested and actual pickup and delivery dates onto your financial grids, giving you insight into how a shipment actually moved while you're reviewing its costs, charges, and invoices.

  • Added "Req P/U Date," "Act P/U Date," "Req Del Date," and "Act Del Date" to the Expected Cost, Bills, Payables, Expected Charges, and Invoices grids.
  • Removed the legacy "Pickup Date" and "Delivery Date" columns, which duplicated these and displayed delivery dates shifted by a time zone offset.
  • Your saved Views update automatically — existing filters and columns carry over to the new date fields, with no action needed.

Multi-Stop & Multi-Trip Building (G2M-4974, G2M-5071)

Load Builder — Existing loads can be opened, edited, and re-rated, with mileage calculated across each trip. Booking a multi-trip load creates one leg per trip, removing a load returns its shipments to New status, and billable rating draws from the load's own agreement.

Multi-Trip Rate Drawer — Improved performance of the Cost Detail when switching to Billable Detail, so the Default Markup Agreement displays immediately. Only accessorials set to Auto Apply are applied, and expanded carrier detail now scrolls horizontally to show all financial columns.

Grid View Date Filters (G2M-5148)

Relative date options — Is Before Today, Is On or Before Today, Is After Today, and Is On or After Today — now work when building a View on any grid that uses date fields, including Track and Manage Shipments. This applies to requested, estimated, and actual pickup and delivery dates, so saved Views stay accurate as the date rolls forward without needing to be updated.
