Schedules

Create Hours of Operations templates

Last Updated: May 6, 2025

Applies to:

Shippers, Brokers, Carriers

Solution Overview:

Schedules can be created for "Hours of Operation" templates, which can be utilized in various system functionalities, such as Locations and Quotes/Shipments.  Schedules allow you to attach  regular operating hours to a Location (and holiday schedule hours). This helps plan pickups and deliveries to the locations, as times will be displayed on the shipment builder screen and will auto-populate on the BOL.

Schedules Step by Step:

1. Introduction

This guide will walk you through creating a new schedule in G2mint.
Introduction

2. Click "Configurations" then "Schedules"

Navigate to the schedules section by first clicking on the configurations gear in the bottom left hand side of your screen.
Click 'Configurations' then 'Schedules'

3. Click "Create New"

Initiate the process to create a new schedule.

Click 'Create New'

4. Enter Schedule details

Select the days that you would like this schedule applied to. Then enter the opening and closing times. In this step, we will select weekdays with an opening time of 9:30am and closing at 4pm.
Enter Schedule details

5. Click "Add More" if needed

If you would like to break out the schedule in more detail, click add more to create an additional line.
Click 'Add More' if needed

6. Click "Days"

We will create another schedule tier for the weekend, using modified dock hours of 9:30am to noon on Saturday and Sunday.
Click 'Days'

7. Click "Save"

Save the newly created schedule.
Click 'Save'

Schedule Information:

  • Assign a specific “Schedule Name” to your newly created schedule
  • From "Days" you can assign one of the seven days of the week to that schedule
  • You can assign “Opening Time” and “Closing Time” associated with the account
  • Using the '+ Add New' option, you can add additional days and times associated with holiday schedules, etc.

  • Schedules created in Configurations allow you to notify your customers of your regular operating hours and holiday schedule hours by selecting one in the location sub-tab of an account. This helps customers plan pickups and deliveries to your locations. The times will be displayed on the shipment builder screen and will auto-populate on your BOL (move to top)
